Integration with Data Studio is made possible through our free connector. Google categorizes these as “Partner connectors,” which comes with specific performance considerations. Let’s go through some tips to help ensure your reports run quickly and reliably.
The report owner must be the workspace Admin.
The report owner, the data source owner, and the workspace Admin must all be the same user (the same email address). This ensures that all data is available in the report, regardless of visibility restrictions configured in NetHunt. It also allows the connector to function more reliably from a technical perspective, as requests will be made consistently under the same email account.

Admin in Nethunt :
How to do it? It’s very simple!
The Data Studio report must be created using the CRM Admin’s Google account. The Admin should also be the one connecting the folders to the report. Don’t worry—you can still grant editing access to another person who will configure the report. The key requirement is ownership permissions.
Split your report into pages
Divide your report into pages so that each page represents a separate logical section of the report. Do not overload a single page with all metrics at once.
Example of correct structure:
First page – Deals metrics
Second page –Companies metrics
Third page – Contacts metrics
Fourth page – relationship metrics between Deals and Contacts.
This allows Data Studio to make sequential requests to each data source or blended data set, avoiding excessive load on the connector. This improves report performance and makes it run faster.
You can also use another approach: instead of creating only separate pages, you can build separate reports. This is useful, for example, when different teams require different sets of metrics.
How can you do this?
Simply add new pages and manage them from the report navigation panel:
Do not open the report in multiple tabs at the same time
Each time you open the report in a new browser tab, it automatically triggers a new request to NetHunt CRM to retrieve the data. As a result, you may create a queue of simultaneous requests, which can prevent the report from loading fully and may cause errors.
Tip:
If possible, you can prepare for the report discussion in advance and export it as a PDF file with the required filters applied.
Or, if you need a live dashboard demonstration during an online meeting, it is better to have the responsible colleague who configured the report present and run it.
Do not overload your device
Data Studio, like some other tools (for example Google Meet), requires a relatively high amount of device resources and a stable internet connection. You can help the report load more efficiently by closing unnecessary browser tabs.
NO ❌
You can also close other browsers (if you are running multiple Chrome instances at the same time), as well as graphic applications if they are placing a load on your device (such as video editors, Photoshop, etc.).
Close the report after use
This will help reduce the number of requests to the database, and as a result:
it will not fill your browser cache
it will allow the report to load faster when reopened, compared to returning to an already open tab.
