Save and share chat templates to save time when messaging.

Updated over 3 months ago

The chat templates section allows you to save recurring messages for future use and share them with your team!

How to create templates

You can create templates directly from the chat with the client:

Saving templates

When saving a template from a draft, select the desired access rights:

  • Shared (accessible to other users).

  • Personal (the template is visible only to you).

  • You can also create and save a template in Settings > Chat message templates:

  • When creating templates in settings, the template will be saved in the section where you create it (shared or personal):

Editing templates

In the template settings, you can:

  • edit template

  • copy template

  • delete template

  • You can also format the template text using the available editing options:

  • Chat templates also support emojis, which makes communication more lively and friendly:

💡Please note: we do not have a key for adding emojis in the CRM itself. To do this, you can use free websites that allow you to copy emojis into your template, for example:

Share a personal template

To share a personal template, you must first copy it and grant shared access to it:

Searching for templates

If you have many templates and need to find the one you need quickly, just enter the template name in the search bar:

💡Please note: You can save a chat template with all the formatting available in the chats section. However, each chat channel has its own limitations, so not all formatting may be applicable when pasting the template. For maximum compatibility, we recommend using templates in plain text format or creating a template directly in the chat where you plan to use it. Also, you cannot add photos or files to a template. This must be done separately due to certain API integration limitations.
