You can easily export folders and records from NetHunt CRM to use them in another service or case of data migration.
How to export Folders
1. Select the folder containing the required data for export. Click on three dots and then the "Export folder" option:
2. Choose one of the export options:
a CSV file;
Google Sheets.
As you finish the "export to CSV", you may download a CSV file:
When "exporting to Google Sheets", you have an option to also export some events from the timeline:
Comments
Call logs
Emails
...and go straight to created Spreadsheet.
⚠️ Exporting emails refers to extracting data such as From, To, CC, time, and subject of the email. Not it's content.
How to export Views
After you create your views, you might need that data for further analysis. There is, of course, a way to export that data with your favorite tool🪄
Select the view with the data for export and choose the fields that you would like to be shown in that view:
Save your view as a new one or just save the changes on the existing view:
Click on its menu and then find the "Export" option:
Choose one of the export options, and as you finish the export, you may save a CSV file or go to a newly created Spreadsheet with the records as described above.
⚠️ Google Sheets has a limit of 2 million cells per sheet in your spreadsheet.
However, NetHunt CRM offers a range of workarounds to simplify your data management, ensuring that you can handle your information with ease and adapt it to your routine:
Versatile Data Export: Easily export entire folders or views as CSV files for seamless import with Google Drive later.
Selective Data Handling: Cherry-pick specific groups of records for export to Google Sheets, allowing for more tailored data management.
How to export photo icons
⚠️ Currently, NetHunt does not include photo icons in a general Export, but we have prepared 2 options of a manual Workaround.
Option 1
(suitable if you want to extract photos of one or two records)
- Right-click on a photo in the record > Tap on "Inspect":
- There you will see the URL of the photo > right-click on it and "open in new tab" to copy the photo directly, or "copy link address" to add it to your spreadsheet:
Option 2
(suitable if you want to extract all photos from a folder)
- Go to any folder > Open "Developer tools":
- Find "Sources" > "top" folder > "nethunt.com" folder > api/v1..... > folders with IDs > open them all...
...after the api/v1... folder, you will see multiple ID folders: first ID is "NetHunt Folder ID" > subsequent IDs are "record IDs".
- Right-click on each file separately > "open in new tab", or "copy link address":
🧩 Option 2 allows you to get a photo of each record from all folders at once, whereas Option 1 pulls a photo of the record you are physically on.
