Required for stages fields

Make some fields required in order to keep your records up to date

You can make fields required for specific Dropdown stages.

This way, you won’t be able to move a records to a certain stage without filling out the required fields. This feature can help you make your CRM data even more complete and clean!

The option is available in every Folder you add a Dropdown field to, which means you have plenty of room for customization.

You can create any type of field and enable this feature, except these:

  • Auto-number

  • Formula

  • Country

  • Checkbox

  • Statistics

Cases

Deals Folder:

Make the “Lost reason” field required when the deal is moved to the Lost stage. Then, a pop-up window will appear every time you move a Deal to the Lost stage, asking you to specify the reason.

This way, your team will not forget to fill out related fields in your Deal record.

Contacts Folder:

Adding a Tag when Contacts go to Outreach stage to specify which means of outreach were used. Once you send your Contacts into Outreach, you will see a pop-up for adding the Tag.

The feature is mainly created to systemize your data and to remind you to fill out some fields once specific actions are done to the record.
