Quick access to messengers

Discover how to quickly switch to a contact’s profile in the required messaging app using NetHunt CRM.

Sometimes you may need to initiate contact with a customer first. However, it is currently not possible to start a chat with a customer directly from the Chats section in NetHunt CRM. This is due to privacy restrictions imposed by the messaging platforms themselves.

But don’t worry! NetHunt CRM offers a convenient quick-access feature that allows you to open a customer’s profile in a messaging app. You can easily find the required contact in NetHunt CRM and instantly open their profile in the messenger to start a conversation.

To quickly get in touch with a contact via a messaging app, use the quick access feature from the contact card in NetHunt. Simply create a contact with a phone number, and you will be able to instantly open their profile in the messaging app directly from NetHunt CRM.

To do this, click on the phone number in the contact card and select the “Open in” option:


The automatic redirection to a contact’s profile in a messaging app only works if the desktop version of the app is installed. When you click the button, the system will open the contact’s profile in the desktop app—as long as the contact is registered with the specified phone number—so you can send the first message.

Once the customer replies, the chat will be automatically created in the system, and you’ll be able to continue the conversation directly within the CRM interface.

💡When you send the first message to a contact via the WhatsApp web version, the chat will be automatically linked to that contact.
