Sorting and filtering records

In this article you will learn how to filter and sort your records in NetHunt

Filters

Filters in NetHunt CRM allow you to quickly find the necessary records, filter the necessary cards by fields or specific parameters in the folders.

In order to access the filter settings use this button:

Inside of the filter there are three sections that allow you to configure filtering:

  • Field by which you need to filter the information.

💡Please note: The option to create a view based on the condition “Any field contains a value” is not available in filters. You can search by the fields available in your folder and the values within it.

  • Second section allows yo you to configure a condition:

  1. Is - exactly the same value.

  2. Is not - exclude some value.

  3. Contains - can be used in text fields to filter records that contain/do not contain the selected words.

  4. Has any value - the field is not empty.

  5. Has no value - the field is empty.

The Date field has additional filtering options:

  1. Is – select a date from the calendar.

  2. Is relative to today – select from the list provided:

  3. Is not – the selected date is not available.

  4. Is before – earlier than the specified date.

  5. Is on or before – the selected date.

  6. Is after - the specified date.

  7. Is on or after - the selected date.

  8. Is between - specify the start and end dates.

  9. Has any value - the field is not empty.

  10. Has no value - the field is empty.

  • In the third section, you can enter a word by which you want to filter records or values.

In addition to the fields configured by admins in records, filters have some additional system capabilities:

  • Open Tasks - allows you to filter records that have open tasks.

  • Updated - allows you to filter records in which changes in fields have recently been performed.

  • Created - allows you to filter records by the date they were created in the system.

The system does not limit users in filtering information by only one field or parameter. In NetHunt CRM, it is possible to build filters on several fields or parameters at the same time. For this, there are “And” and “Or” options in the filters:

  • And - allows you to filter records by several conditions at the same time.

  • Or - allows you to filter records by one of the conditions configured.

It is also possible to combine "And" and "Or" parameters in the filters.

How to choose your own date range

You can also filter records by date range. For example, if you want to display records between specific dates, you need to specify the following filter value:

Our next example will cover the next 7 days starting today. This is useful if you plan to close a deal in the near future or need to see your clients' birthdays.

You can also filter dates beyond the next 7 days, but no further than the end of this month.

Here's how it should look:

You'll also be able to copy or delete filter conditions, whether they're groups or individual fields:

Records sorting

In addition to filtering records in NetHunt, it is possible to sort them by fields or columns, alphabetically, or from smaller to larger number and vice versa. You need to use the button "Sort by" and select the field in the section by which you need to sort the records, as well as choose whether the sorting will be from A to Z or from larger to smaller number or vice versa.

Thus, we can see that NetHunt allows you to filter and sort records in various ways to get exactly the information you need for work.

After configuring the filters once and sorting the necessary records, users can save this version of the view for themselves in order to have quick access to it in the future.
