Making Calls from NetHunt CRM
You can call your contacts directly from NetHunt CRM. Simply click the contact's phone number and select Call with UniTalk.
💡 Note: To access call recordings in your NetHunt CRM workspace, keep your UniTalk integration connected. If you disconnect the integration, call activities will remain visible in the activity history, but you will no longer be able to play the recordings directly from your NetHunt CRM workspace.
The UniTalk integration is available on Business and higher NetHunt CRM plans. If you're currently on a lower-tier plan, you can try the integration free for 14 days and upgrade your subscription at any time to continue using it.
How to Automatically Create Records from VoIP Calls
In this article, you'll learn how to use the New VoIP Call trigger to automate workflows based on your incoming and outgoing calls.
Managing Telephony Permissions
In some cases, you may want to control your team's access to the telephony module and customer phone numbers. NetHunt CRM's Role Permissions allow you to define the level of access each role has to the Telephony section.
Full Access to VoIP Calls grants users with this role access to the VoIP Calls section in NetHunt CRM. They can also view all related call activities and recordings in the activity history of any record they have access to.
Access Calls via record timeline only grants users access only to call activities associated with a record through its activity history. The VoIP Calls section itself remains unavailable. When using this permission level, choose one of the following visibility options:
See other users' call details – users can view the full details of calls made or received by other users in the record's activity history.
See phone numbers – users can see only the phone numbers associated with call activities. Call details, such as recordings and metadata, remain hidden.
❗ Troubleshooting: To ensure the UniTalk integration works reliably, it must be connected by a user who is an Admin in both NetHunt CRM and the UniTalk account. For the integration to continue functioning properly, this user must remain active in NetHunt CRM.
If you need to deactivate or remove this user, first transfer ownership of the integration to another NetHunt CRM administrator. The new owner must also have Admin permissions in UniTalk. You can transfer ownership from the integration settings.
Simply select another administrator and assign the integration ownership to them.
