Sometimes, it's important to unlink specific records from emails to ensure that only relevant information remains on the record's timeline.
Here are several ways you can do this:
Unlink it from the general inbox – click on the record snippet you want to unlink, then click the three-dot button in the top right corner and select "Unlink."
Unlink the record from inside the email – open the email or email thread, click the three-dot button in the top right corner of the record, and select "Unlink."
Unlink the record from the Timeline – simply go to the record and click the "Unlink" button:
