How to connect Aircall to your NetHunt workspace
To link your Aircall account to NetHunt, follow these steps:
Go to Settings > Apps and other integrations > Aircall > Connect:
Then you will be redirected to the Aircall page. You will need to log in:
After correct authorization, Aircall will show you the integration with Nethunt CRM. You just need to click “Authorize”:
The next step is to add your number:
Select it and click "Confirm":
Next, click “Add numbers”:
Congratulations, you have connected your Aircall to the Nethunt CRM workspace.
How integration with Aircall works
To make/receive calls, you can download the following:
Aircall Workspace [New]: The newest desktop/web application with unified conversation view.
Phone App [Legacy]: The legacy desktop application for making/receiving calls, being replaced by Workspace.
Mobile App: Smartphone version (iOS/Android) for making/receiving calls on the go.
Google Chrome Extension enables:
Click-to-dial from any webpage
Automatic phone number detection
Adding numbers to call queues
You can find the files and/or links in the "Get Started" section in the Aircall web version:
Call history
In the Aircall section, you can view all the information about the calls you have made:
Which user received or made the call and to which number;
Duration and date of the call;
Call status - answered or not answered;
Call log: either pulled from the Aircall notes, or written down manually in NetHunt after the call;
Listen to the call.
You can also sort calls by several metrics, such as call duration, creation date, and last updated date.
Create a contact from a call
If someone calls you for the first time (this contact is not yet in CRM), the system will show this and give you the opportunity to create a new customer record:
You can create a new record by clicking on the NetHunt icon and after that all calls with this phone number will be available in the Timeline within the contact. (see next screenshot)
Calls from CRM
You can call your contacts directly from CRM. To do this, click on the phone number in the record and select “Call (Aircall)”:
Also, when you receive an incoming call, you can go directly to your record in Nethunt CRM if the record with that phone number exists.
Integration with Aircall is available for users who subscribe to pricing plans starting from Business and above. If you are using a Basic plan, you can test a free 14-day trial version of this integration and upgrade your subscription later.
Set up permissions in the VoIP section.
There are times when we need to differentiate between our team's access to VoIP and customer numbers. In the role permissions settings, you can choose what kind of access to the section the role will have as a whole.
Full access to VoIP calls: Allows the role to access the VoIP calls section of NetHunt CRM. Also, the role can access all related calls in the activity history of the record.
Access calls via record timeline only: Allows the role to access only the associated calls in the activity history of the record, while the connected telephony section itself will be inactive. This setting has two possible options, one of which must be selected for the restrictions to work:
See other users’ call details - if this option is checked, the user will have full access to all call details in the activity history
See phone numbers - if this option is checked, the user will see only the phone number in the activity history, but the call details will not be displayed.
❗️Troubleshooting: To ensure stable operation of the Aircall integration, the connection to the CRM must be made by a user who is an administrator in both NetHunt CRM and the Aircall personal account. For the integration to work smoothly, this user must remain active in CRM.
If you need to delete this user, first you need to transfer ownership of the integration to a new Admin in the CRM. It is important that this new Admin also has Admin rights in Aircall. This can be done in the integration settings:
Just select another user and transfer ownership to them:
