Zapier is a great software integrator that allows you to automate various processes in the software you use.

You may facilitate your work with NetHunt CRM by using the Time since field update option to send out automated emails.
Initially, you need to make sure that you have 2 fields set up:
STATUS (or Stage)

TIME SINCE FIELD UPDATE (tracking the STATUS field)

You may have automated follow-up emails sent to your customers based on the their status update. For example:

You need to set up follow-up emails to your LEADS and need these emails to be sent at a specific time:

  • on the 1st day they are in a certain stage; 
  • on the 3rd day 
  • on the 5th day.

Let’s say there is a Companies folder that contain records with a Lead status.

When you create a Lead (create a record and set the Status LEAD), the field Time since field update is set to “0”. You need to send this lead the first email.

The steps to set up this automation are as follows.

  • Choose NetHunt as a trigger and set it to New or Updated Record in the Filter field.
  • Edit options: Choose the folder (Clients), Field (Status), Search query ("Time since field update"=0 "Status"=Lead)
  • Set an action application: Gmail>Send email
  • Edit template: select the field To (Email), a Subject line, and the Body of the email. Then test this step.

When the system recognizes a record in the Lead Status and the Time since field update shows "0", it will send an email you set up in Zapier. It will trigger all the new Leads in your folder.

These were the steps to set up the 1st automatic email to be sent when you just created a Lead record. If there is no response from the recipient, the 2nd email should be sent on the 3rd day.

To send the 2nd email, you need to create the second Zap and just change the Search query (as shown on the steps above) into: "Time since field update"=2 "Status"=Lead.
It should state "2" as the counter starts with "0" which is considered to be the creation day.

Also, the 3rd email will go on the 5th day (provided there is no answer from your Lead).
To get it done, you need to create the third Zap and just change the Search query (as shown on the steps above) into: "Time since field update"=4 "Status"=Lead.
It should state "4" as the counter starts with "0" which is considered to be the creation day.

Voila! You just set up a campaign of 3 emails to be sent with the interval in case you lead has not responded to you yet.
