1. Go to Settings - Data & Structure - Folder and field management
2. Choose a Contacts folder - got to Fields
3. Scroll down till you see "+Add Field"
4. Choose "Dropdown" field
5. Give it a name and add your stages as "Presets" (colors can be adjusted)
6. Click "Add" and "Save"
7. Now in your Contacts each of them can have a certain stage and you can create a view that will present each stage as a pipeline. To do so go to your Contacts folder and click on "List View" and choose a field name you just created:
8. And there you have it (ensure each contact has a stage assigned to get a view like this). Also, contact cards can be adjusted to show those pieces of info you need them to show, as well as customize your pipeline. Here is more info on customizing cards and customization in general.
